It is very easy to get swept up in negativity and get trapped in our negative thoughts. Especially now, with so much negativity in the world, staying positive can seem like a daunting task. However, it is so important to practice positivity, invest into your self care and work on our mindsets enough where we can see the good.

FIND AN OPPORTUNITY IN NEGATIVE TIMES

- There is no doubt we will all go through negative times in life. However, look for the good. Find the positive opportunity in each situation. Ask your self; what will this teach me and why do I need to learn from this?
CONSIDER DIFFERENT EXPLANATIONS FOR BAD SITUATIONS

- Find some explanation! In negative times, do self reflection, reflect on the situation and what could have went wrong, again find ways to learn from your negative experiences. Finding an explanation can put your mind at ease
FOCUS ON POSITIVE FACTS, NOT NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

- We are in control of our thoughts. Thoughts then become actions and beliefs. We often times let our minds get the best of us and immediately go straight to negative thinking. Instead, switch that and see the positive facts of the situation
REDISCOVER WHAT YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR

- Gratitude will change your entire outlook on life. Switch your mindset from “I have to” to “I get to.” This will IMMEDIATELY change the way you view situations, work, relationships, etc!
